How long can I expect the process to take?

At 1-2-Move, we understand that speed can sometimes be a top priority. We aim to be able to complete the purchase within 7-10 days. In extreme cases, we may be able to complete sooner.

If you are looking for the security of a legally binding sale before you start looking for your next home, we are happy to exchange contracts, and then schedule the completion to coincide with your move.

Should you feel that you do not want to move from the family home, we may have a solution that allows you to rent-back the property, and then buy it back.

I have mortgage arrears, can you still assist me?

Yes we may be able to assist you. All we ask is that you have some equity in the property.

We will assess your requirements, and offer a package that meets your needs.

You may find yourself in the unfortunate position where you have mortgage arrears, but don't want to leave your home. In these instances, you would be able to rent the property from us, and buy it back in future at a pre-agreed price.

Once we have agreed the sale, how quickly do I have to move out?

Once the sale has been agreed, you can stay in the property up until the day of completion. We can fit the completion date around your personal circumstances.

In cases where you are staying on as a tenant, there is no need for you to move.

What are the costs?

At 1-2-Move, there are no hidden costs. We will not charge you any additional estate agency fees, legal or valuation fees. We even offer to pay your legal fees to a maximum of £500.

If you are already on the market with an estate agent, you may need to pay their fees, but we will not charge you.

We will offer you a free no-obligation appraisal of your property, and offer a deal to meet your needs.

We can appoint a solicitor for you, or you can use your own solicitor. Either way, we will pay your legal fees up to £500.

What type of properties do you buy?

At 1-2-Move, we will buy all types of residential and commercial property.

Do you buy properties in any condition?

We will purchase any type of property in any condition. Most properties we buy do require some degree of improvement. If you are struggling to sell through an estate agent, we may be able to help you.

1-2-Move purchase properties nationwide. Whether you live in England, Scotland, Wale or Northern Ireland, we can help you.

What is the difference between 1-2-Move and an estate agent?

1-2-Move are not estate agents.

We consider all the factors relating your property, including type, location and condition. We often offer between 75% and 90% of your property value.

Whilst you may be able to obtain a higher price from an estate agent, you will incur additional fees from the estate agent.

In addition, we don't just look at how much we can offer you. We also aim to offer a package that can benefit your situation.

How long are your offers valid for?

Our offers are valid for 28 days. Should you miss this date, we can still proceed with the purchase, but we may have to re-assess your situation and amend our offer.
